If you're a newbie go with WordPress it is easy and you find more tutorials on Youtube if you faced difficulties & if you know coding you can use HTML 5, CSS 6, Javascript, Python and any other to make your site from scratch!

Joomla is a bear and not well supported. Stay away from it and Drupal. Wordpress and Wix and others are fine if you want to use templates that restrict your layout. Just realize they are typically slow in terms of page speed and you may lose traffic as a result. HTML is fast when done right and infinitely flexible. It is best if you want to build it and leave it in place. Not so good if you want to do daily updates and postings. My sewer repair business is done in HTML and works well for me!

Wix is a load of rubbish, I'd never recommend using this. Wordpress layouts are not restricted by templates - you can be as flexible as you want.
A well configured Wordpress site (or any other CMS) can be as fast as an HTML site. What makes them slow is all the caggage people bolt on.

As was mentioned before, don't even bother with Wix and Joomla. Wordpress is easy to learn and use, however that convienence comes at a cost; it limits customizability and page speeds.

On the other hand, HTML/CSS takes more skill and time to create but you don't sacrafice customizability and can build it exactly how you want.

It is all depending on what the client needs.

Not if you do it right. WordPress is fully customizable and if properly configured can be very fast.

It depends on your requirements because all the platforms are good.
For example – If you wants to create ecommerce website then you will choose different platform who is more secur and reliable and when you have to create static website of minimum 20 pages you will choose different platform.

My personal preference is WordPress. And if it's less than 6 page site, then HTML hard coded. I don't see much need for joomla.

ith Joomla it is possible to create a community with a membership area, newsroom, forums, online stores, etc and it is not necessary to have any coding skills. These are the features which differentiate Joomla from HTML site: Joomla CMS platform is a user-friendly content management system.

Joomla is not a recommended option to create a website as it is not used widely now. You should better go with WordPress. It has all the feature and functionality which are needed to create a customized website of any caliber. It also has a great plugin repository that offers a free plugin to add any feature which is not available by default. Apart from the WordPress website is known as SEO friendly websites which are added advantage of it. It is also very easy to understand the WordPress CMS which takes very little time to get knowledge of it.

Wordpress is not SEO friendly. In fact an out the box install fails many basic SEO checks. You need to do a lot of work to pass all the tests.

And it's not easy to use for a beginner.

Hey fisicx, Can you please suggest any framework or CMS which is more SEO friendly than WordPress on out of the box installation which does not need any setting, plugins, extensions, modules, etc. Also, I am curious to know the name of the easiest CMS/tool/Framework for a beginner.

The problem here is you have two almost incompatible requirements.

If you want clean code with fast loading you need a CMS like craft. But the downside is it's not very user friendly.

But if you want something that's fairly simple to learn the penalty is more code and more scripts.

There is notsingle answer to these questions. As always it depends on your requirements.

Absolutely right, and most of the requirements are best suited to choose WordPress as their website platform. Search on Google and you will find that WordPress is one of the most used platforms for creating websites. As you say, it depends on the requirement, most of the answers choose WordPress as their suggestion as they find it best fitted for their requirement. It's their suggestion as per their experience. So, we should value it. Although, WordPress is not SEO friendly by default as you say. However, you can make it SEO friendly with the use of plugins. There are so many plugins that any feature or functionality can be achieved by installing plugins. And most of them are free which is the major plus point of WordPress. It's my experience and suggestion.

But if you want fast site with good SEO you should avoid forward facing plugins.

Almost everything Yoast and AIOSEO offers is pointless and in many cases misleading. All you need is the ability to edit page titles and descriptions. You can easily add this functionality to any theme.
