I changed the theme on my site but now my website displays a mixture of both the new and old themes. For some reason, some elements of the old theme still appear on the site such as the sidebar and the footer. It's spoiling my UI.

When I revert back to the old theme, some elements of the new theme such as the header and menu style remain.

Has anyone experienced such a problem, my website looks ok, but it seems I have wasted $69 on a new theme.

    Can anyone help?

Sounds more like a caching issue than a problem with the theme

It would be helpful if you can share a screenshot of how your site appeared before and what it is now.

I think it can be due to fault in the theme installation.

It happens most of the time due to the caching issue.

You can hire a web designer and developer who can help you set up a new theme. Also, you can search on youtube how to apply a new theme
