What is your fav browser?
well i go for firefox, chrome is not bad but integartion of plugins is very tough in chrome then the firefox, bugs are fixed every month in firefox but could find any update in chrome as it is mile stone.
I noticed that hardly anyone uses Internet Explorer. This is one of the most lopsided polls I have seen where an overwhelming majority of users go for either Chrome or Firefox.
My primary browser is Chrome. I prefer it because it helps prevent you from coming into contact with malware infected websites. I also use Firefox and IE for specific uses though. I use Firefox because certain plugins work better in Firefox than in Chrome. I use IE because I have the homepage in IE set to Bing.com. So, I use that when I want to surf Bing anonymously. And I also use it to make sure my websites look alright in IE after I make any major changes or if I am developing a new website.
I work on firefox
W3Schools say that Internet Explorer had a 14.7% share of the market in Dec 2012. On a community like this where a lot of our members are webmasters, it's probably not surprising that IE's share would be even lower.
I use both Chrome or Safari. It's probably because of my bias side when it comes to rendering my website. Typography looks horrendous on Firefox and Opera for the Mac and unfortunately there's no easy "fix" for it. The way they render good fonts like Freight Sans—don't even think about it! It's just fortunate that they look crisp on both Safari and Chrome, and that's not just because Steve Jobs had a thing for typography in general. I wouldn't want to view a site with messed up font, let alone my very own. They look fine on Firefox and Opera for Windows though... not sure why.
Now since both browsers can render fonts elegantly, I find myself using Chrome more due to its large library of useful and updated plugins. Safari lacks in this department which is a shame. It's a nice browser, no doubt, but lately plugins have become a part of my daily workflow. I suppose it's safe to say that Chrome wins as my favourite browser. I tried many different browsers but none can get close with either Chrome or Safari.
I'm waiting for the day to come when our websites look the same on every browser, or at least have enough support to achieve something close. Even though I can look at my site perfectly with the intended design, I wish everyone else could see the same.
I like firefox, great plugons, ease of convenience....but ocassionaly had to use IE for governement sites in my country have IE as their standard Prerequisites.....
There are many browsers like Netscape, Opera, Chrome and Firefox. Before I used Netscape but it was heavy for me then i changed to Opera but it also had some issues loading the pages. Then, came FireFox. It was the coolest browser and still now. Chrome is light and good too. But I prefer Mozilla which supports my personal addons.
Mozilla and Opera are good ones.
