    First clear if you want tool for backlinks or broken link .
    You can use SEMRUSH which will tell you the broken links on the site and you can use backlink audit tool in sem rush to find out backlink opportunities .

    Google Search Console, ahrefs, and semrush are the best tools to find backlinks or broken links.

    Yes, but mostly pointless these days. Google has changed how it measures the value of links.

    @digitalm1 - you don't need any of those tools. What you do need is to provide informative and interesting content that adds value. Back this up with citations and referrals and you are good to go.
