No, it's not a good idea.

You can have one database but ideally each country should have it's own sub-domain. That way you can make sure the layouts, content, navigation contact details and so on are unique. This is better for your visitors and better for the search engines.

For what business you want to target actually the business which B2C customer oriented like restaurant or e-commerce site, this idea is not correct. Because the common public will look for the site extension with local country and if you want to focus globally for B2B business I think using the domain with .com extension you can target the countries by creating different service pages for the same domain.

For this the most imperative thing is resources, money and time to invest.

    Why?

A single database to manage all sites is a much better way to do things. Using sub-domains for each country is how all the major international companies do things.

I will offer a counterpoint to the above answers. If the product/service you are promoting has univeral appeal across those countries with no need for country specific orientation then you are better with a single web site. You can have country level domains redirecting back to your site if you wish but you will have much better control and ability to keep your site fresh if you only have to maintain a single site.

    Hello All,
I think create a different country specific pages is easy and better way than creating subdomains; we can also set language and geo location on every pages which you want to target.

Given how expensive SEO is, I would just create one site and target all countries. You can geotarget the user based on IP and serve content in their local language and currency.

I've seen some big competitors of mine who are international do this. The website has big authority and can rank in all the countries. It would be madness to not leverage your website authority and rank in all the countries with the same aged, authorative site. Than to try to do it 7 times over.

Visit this site with different IP addresses and see the prices and language change: https://www.vangoghmuseumshop.com/en/repro-categories

I also agree with your view of having just one domain. It's easy to manage a website if your products have an international market, a single website is the best thing as you need to update and manage only one website. Apart from that if you want to show different content in different countries, you can opt for directories/folders in the same domain. for instance, to target UK and India on the same domain, you can create a website with directories like example.com/uk/ AND example.com/in/. This can be the easiest way to target multiple countries in a single website

You better focus on one geolocation at a time or have different domains for different target countries
