    Hello.
    I am sorry if this is not the correct place to ask this question up.
    But these days chatbots are really in trend, so I was wondering if anyone could let me know what and how chatbots are beneficial for a startup specifically health and fitness startup.
    Looking for some honest help and suggestions. also if anyone knows any firm who is into chatbot development and marketing do let me know.

    Chatbots won’t replace people or services, help cut down on operational costs, improve with consistent evaluation and optimization and offer progressive avenues for marketing and sales.

    Chatbots are already in use, and despite what a lot of people say, I think they’re a lot of help to businesses.

    Like all robots, chatbots benefit from good and quality input from humans. Chatbots work two ways. The first is by relying on structured questions, and the second is powered by AI.
    The power of chatbots is not lost in the business world. As brands focus on promoting personalized experiences, more and more intelligent chatbots are being built to engage users and improve brand image. That said it is a rarity to find a live intelligent chatbot, also called as AI chatbot. As the thought of a chatbot springs up, we know it is not a real person for sure. What we know is that chatbot brings a human touch. For that to become a reality, chatbots need to be really intelligent. The crux is not the chatbot rather it is the intelligence quotient of the chatbot that can bring the human touch.

    My experience is with a lot of embedded chatbots they cause serious performance issues to a site. If you do want to try a chatbot out though, you could try integrating the facebook one. It has pretty good functionality for creating automated responses.

    Try WooBot. Free and designed for WooCommerce. What it does is it doesn't lag site but only does basic query.

    Down sides:
    1. No customization (yet)
    2. No routing to human
    3. No data collection

    @Alexis P. Do you use it? Has it improved conversions?

    I can’t stand chatbots. If I need to ask a Bot question about a product or service it means the site needs fixing. A well built site shouldn’t need chat. Amazon don’t, nor does eBay.

    Honestly, chatbots have taken over almost every online business, from fitness to e-commerce. The primary reason for their popularity is the ease and convenience they add to online business and that too so efficiently. From sending customized messages to answering clients' issues, offering discounts to displaying new products, it can handle everything. Most importantly, it ensures flawless customer experience which boosts your business growth.

    Maybe...

    But they can also deliver complete garbage. I had a technical query about a device and all the chatbot could offer was a link to the help pages on the website. The reason I was using the chat function is because the answer wasn't on the help pages.

    According to me, chat bot is an effective way to resolve your customer's any query at the same time but most of the time companies just add their links for some basic issues that basically not helped so much to consumers. If you have live chat option and if you have people to do chat with consumers or have CSA executive to talk to them then Chat bot will be really effective way to reach your clients.

    If you have to pay someone to answer questions you are defeating the point of having a chatbot.
