Who are Harvest Moon @Rodney Harper?

With regards your own site, what marketing have you been doing?

What makes your products better than all the others on the market?

Work on your social media presence. Share tips on topics relating to your product on Facebook, Twitter and Youtube. Strive to position yourself as an authority in your field.

You need to allocate tons of time building relationship with your customer base. I am messaging my 600 local Facebook to let me do their Income Taxes. I am hoping to get 5 per cent of them. This is the process you need to do.

I agree it can work for some products or services but that doesn't mean it will work for everyone.

I'd go with social media promotion in case of a small local business - Instagram and Facebook mostly. Some ads, reviews on those social media and captivating blog which also explains the benefits, the value and the uniqueness of your product must work out well.

Depends on the business. Can't really see instagram working well for an undertaker.

You can do classified country targeted. You can make images, video and infographic of your product and share it on Social Media sites. You can make your video and upload it YouTube and submit video submission sites.

Is this working? Does it mean you aren’t bothering with local SEO anymore?

I’ve recently finished working with a client in the UK. It took about a week to get them ranking locally. We’ve also got then in the map listing and are running some highly targeted adverts.

In the week since the new site ranked he has got 11 new clients.

Facebook may work for you but SEO can be faster.

The strategy will greatly depend upon the type of product and the industry you are in.
