It depends on what you consider to be a good site.
Can you suggest me if the design of gratifiedmuslim.com is good enough when it comes to overall outlook, design and speed?
Have you checked your web speed on any tool?? If not please use GTmetric, google page speed insights or Pingdom and optimize accordingly as far as design outlook is reasonable but you can improve more.
Do research, follow these points
1. Load all the important informaiton at the above the fold include phone no. email, social media buttons
2. Make it creative with images and backgrond videos for 5 to 10 seconds which say everything about your business.
rest is discussed here... like optimize the website with SEO rules and regulaitons
Internet is full of free tutorials.
w3schools is a good place to start.
If you want to invest you can try paid online tutorials like udemy.
Developing the websites with more features and short and crisp explanation of the site will improve the websites search ranking increases.
If you want to host your website as a blog then you should choose WordPress.
And in that choose an appropriate theme and design great quality content.
But first of all Choose a niche and try your hand at it.
If you want to have a really good site and don't have the experience, it is better to hire professionals. When it comes to building a website, a lot of details should be taken into account. I personally had no coding skills and created a site using one of the website builders for business. Of course, it was easy to work with it, but still, I didn't pay attention to SEO, didn't choose a custom domain name, used my personal account for email marketing, etc. Also, it is important to think carefully about product information. In case you are on a budget and want to start your own business, this is a good way out, and you will cope with this work for sure, but it will take time not only for the process itself but also for learning and improving web design skills.
If you want to make a good website, you must have good programming knowledge or you can take help from a web app development company or download the bootstrap admin dashboard templates from mobythemes
Only a complete idiot is still using bootstrap for anything. It wasn't very good when it was released and it's now just useless.
I am starting a website with https://mlsdev.com/services/custom-software-development for a small business which will be my first project as owner.
Top 8 Key steps to make a good website:-
Obtain a good Domain
Clearly Describe your Business
Research your Competitors Strategies
Choose a best Ecommerce Platform
Optimize your Website
Publish Content Regularly
Create Social Media Profiles
These are not key steps. Nor are they relevant to many businesses.
Hello, Aldo! It would be easier to advise you anything if you'd told us what exactly you need and what you assume saying "a good website".
As a user, I pay attention to two aspects of websites. It's the way it looks and the way it functions. I should find it attractive and user-friendly. I clicked on it, it opens fast, I haven't noticed bugs and lags. If you have a language changing option then I'd make it easier to notice but if you stick with your geo then maybe there's no need for it.
If you are concerned about the design then maybe it's better to try working with professional designers. I'd recommend paying attention to the Awesomic subscription design services because it's just more affordable than working with a designer given that they have a trial period.
Hopefully, it'll help you. Keep it up!
$2000/month is not affordable!
