How Much Sleep is Necessary to stay active all week?

    The adults need seven to nine hours of sleep every night. You will be the best judge on if you wake up feeling rested after seven, eight, or nine hours of sleep.

    I don't actually like sleeping at night as much as short sleep (5-6 hours) followed up by a nap later in the afternoon. Getting just enough sleep but not too much is essential for staying sharp. And, I find that I'm more creative with less sleep (around 4 hours) than on a full 8-10 hours sleep. Maybe because all my energy was wasted on dreaming and not working. Not that i advocate staying up late and waking early as that's just recipe for disaster in your work day. Get to bed at a sensible time, such as 9 or 10 pm and wake up very early (3/4 am) and get a few good hours of work out of the way before the family wakes. Works for me every time.

    It's flexible for everyone. But u should go to bed before 12am and wake up before 7. Well, 7-8 hours /day. Take a nap at lunch.
    Yeah, perfect :">
    Enough sleep not only make effective and productive work but also a good health.

    “Generally speaking, the proper amount of sleep is the amount that allows the individual to wake refreshed and to remain alert throughout the day without the need for caffeine or other stimulants,” Studies provide a range of much more colorful answers, though. One frequently cited 20-year study completed in 2002 analyzed self-reported sleep logs and found that those individuals who were asleep for seven hours per night lived longer than those who slept eight hours or more. Of course, correlation doesn’t necessarily mean causation. According to Dr. Watson, “Long sleep may be a surrogate marker of poor health.” In other words, study subjects’ poor health may be what’s causing their excessive bedtime routine, not vice versa.

    The main thing that you had mode, go to ten if you get up at seven in the morning.

    Same for me about 8-9 hours on weekdays and about 10 hours on weekends

    Also depend upon physical strength of person, if he/she is weak needs 7-8 hurs
    if he/she is strong physical strength than 6-7 hurs is sufficient.

    General rule is 8 hours but for us computer geeks we need to take an extra hour in day time to sleep and rest our eyes and brain.

    I think that 8 hours a day is fine, I feel that if you are more the body enters another side of the dream where you get tired.

    Actually, 7-8 hours for night is must, ( best from 10p-6a). Weekends sleep as much as you can, like me;)

    7hours is necessary for me. from 11:30pm to 6:30am

    Obviously sleep is the most important factor in health:). It plays an important role in our daily activity. We must have to sleep for 7-8 hour.

    I try to take 5 hours sleep. Often that leads me to burn out every day. And my health is under issue. I try to sleep more during the weekends but that also affects health.

    I get about 5-6 hours a day throughout the week and around 7-8 per day on weekends.

    8 hours if your work is exhausting. 5 to 6 hours of sleep type people are different from those who require 8 hours.

    As you know that every person wants good health. For good health, it is necessary to take complete sleep for 8 to 9 hours. I give 8 hrs time to sleep and also it 1hour and 2hour late for the weekend. And my most favorite timing is early morning 2 hours before wake up, to enjoy the sleep.
