    All that article suggests is the local businesses surveys do not run email campaigns or paid media.

    Email and paid media does still work.

    Email marketing is one of the best ideas or can say an act of sending a commercial message to a group of people with the use of email id. It is quite a nice idea to tell your customers about new products or services. It helps to boost your brand awareness and build credibility.


    The paid media involve paid placements which include PPC advertising, display ads, lead generation, etc. It is a great idea to increase the growth and brand awareness for online businesses.

    Email marketing (when done correctly) is very useful. For E-Commerce it converts at 7-10% (22-23 for some industries) and then when someone clicks off the page with a full shopping cart an email reminding them that their cart is full will convert at 33%

    Aside from conversions rates, it is also very beneficial from a review management perspective, as well as SEO and more. There is still a ton of leverage to be had with email marketing.

    In Email Marketing Content plays an important role, so avoid spammy words in the emailer otherwise it will go to the senders spam box.

    • 86% of professionals prefer to use email when communicating for business purposes. (Hubspot)
    • 89% marketers said that email was their primary channel for lead generation. (Mailigen)

    Email Marketing is most effective way of internet marketing. it will be most cost-effective method of attracting and retaining customers. we need better data in the future to personalize emails effectively because we need to leverage data across marketing channels.. future email marketing campaigns should aim to be more personalized.
