Nope don't do this.
Why? Please explain.
Because it's a waste of time. Google doesn't want to see your content on multiple channels, it wants a single source with citations.
Read up on the panda and penguin updates.
content marketing is the best way to get backlinks as well as to generate leads
Not any more. Google has got wise to this and is now dumping all those links from the index.
LOL. Content is king, period. I don't care about Google or another search engine. Build the best content you can and people will love you and they will keep coming back. If not, keep losing lots of money on paid advertising. (Because you will lose money until you will learn the ropes)
Write for people, not for robots. You must be patient.
the important point is how you deliver your high quality content to the targeted audience..
I absolutely agree that it is king. However, you can also use it beyond SEO. It can also be used via social media platforms such as Facebook, Pinterest, etc. to garner tremendous traffic.
Yes I love content marketing, it is the best way I have been able to rank with SEO. I also use social media to help boost my authority. By growing my Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest accounts is gives me more SEO juice towards my content marketing strategy.
No it doesn’t. SM links are all no-follow so will have zero SEO benefit.
Interesting. Yoast course said that Twitter & Pinterest links are great for SEO
What Yoast course?
Did they explain how?
As an aside, Yoast is one of the worst SEO plugins. It will lead you in all the wrong directions.
Ps how did you get those links in your signature? I tried to put mine in but the site wouldn't allow it.
Really? I did three of the courses, Im, not sure which one told me that. Which plugins do you like? I found the yoast courses really helped with keyword research and content marketing on my blog.
You need at least 50 good quality posts.
Yoast is now very outdated. Many of the techniques they suggests stopped being effective a while back.
Google is looking for informative, interesting and authoritative sites that add value. You need to take a holistic approach to your website and make sure it's an integrated whole. This is then backed up with citations (backlinks) that indicate the usefulness of your site. These citations need to come from relevant and equally authoritative sites.
Links from social media will be ignored. Mainly because they are links you created yourself. If you sell socks, you need links from fashion sites or recommendations from clothing sites telling everyone how good your socks are.
Google is also looking for sites that are open an honest. This means adding names, addresses, telephone numbers, emails. It's looking for testimonials and reviews and all manner of trust signals.
Most of your onsite SEO doesn't need a plugin. All you need is the means to edit the page title and the description. Which means 99% of the stuff you get from yoast is pointless.
That is really helpful and interesting thank you so much!!!
I agree with you content is king. The future of Digital Marketing will be based on user friendly and quality content.
Yes, you are right. Best content so many helps to rank up your site
Well said! Content is the key element, driving more users and increasing your social presence.
