I use a really simple but highly effective program called Snagit that was recommended to me by a few screw casting buddies who do a lot of webinars.

Screenpresso is a less well known screen and video capturing software. It has a free version. The PRO version is only $24 with a perpetual license. Maybe it will fit your needs

In search of the best screen recorder, I find that I can use VLC media player to record my laptop screen. It works pretty nice with no trial experience.

Cam studio, Once you learn it how to use then It will be easy for you to record but file size is really big. Use 3 MB per 2 or 3 Second which is very high.

I'm using SnagIt for screen recording and editing screenshots. Works great specially since I can save work using the cloud and access it anytime I need to. Ping is also a great alternative, it's free and easy to install.

I would recommend Snagit and Bandicam. They are pretty intuitive, so I think there will be no difficulties in learning how to use them. I personally prefer OBS - you can set scenes on every window, add plugins - and record it.

Since the original posting, I've fallen in love with Zoom. Not only is it a fantastic conferencing software, but you can also record and use it for just you.

I'm using screen recorder and i got it from top1apk. I think this app works quite well. I have 3 seconds to prepare before it starts working. And, after that the video will be saved automatically in my gallery.

If you are on Windows then camtasia is the best. If you are on Android, I think you can use DU Recorder. That also works well and allows streaming too.

I am interested using camtasia. Is it free? As you are experienced using it. Any disadvantage please?

Camtasia is paid software. Not seen any form of disadvantage. Mostly they are being used by many professionals on YouTube.

If you are using Iphone than the native screen recorder is the best one.
