I recently found a website famebit which allow social media people to promote someone's business/product/services on their social media account. Anyone here have any experience using famebit? is it worth spending time on it?

I've been working in the website marketing industry for 10 years and never heard of them. The domain was first registered in 2013, and was registered for six years. They claim to be trusted by over 18,000 brands and over 67,000 creators. They also "name drop" companies like Canon, Sony, and Conair, but I cannot find an "About" page on their website. They were acquired by Google in October of last year. According to an article in USA Today published in 2015, Famebit partners brands with influencers who get paid to mention the brand in a video, or make a video for the brand, i.e. a review. In order to become an influencer on Famebit, you need to have at least 1000 followers on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Vine, Tumblr or (not "and") YouTube.
