Having an accountant and accounting software you have is good use. You keep each transaction and put it into the quickbooks/quicken/peachtree.....it will keep the work down for your accountant and help to reduce your bill they will send you. Then you can send the info the accountant, and let them do the rest. If theirs a mistake, or something needs addressing. They'll be able to help. Keeps the bills down, but your accuracy up. As its is tax season coming quickly. Order your tax forms early and avoid paying extra for shipping. We are offering free shipping on tax forms and envelopes. Saving you money. Call around and see what the prices are for your accounting needs. You'll find something that is perfect for your needs. Keep that in mind. Everyone's needs are different.

It depends on your requirements because if you wants to manage big team then software is the best option for you. Otherwise people can manage easily.

You definitely need both an accountant using accounting software to get the best results. Otherwise, it's easy to make mistakes without one or the other and you'll end up paying for it in the long run.

Software is a must but book-keeping is also necessary to maintain the records of accounting.

Accounting with human is the best way to tread for now. The Software or Artificial Intelligence has not developed as much that it can replace a human. However, certain things could ensure you hire an actually good accountant, such as:
    1. Ask about experience in accounting industry.
    2. Ensure if they are acquainted with your industry-specific accounting.
    3. Do they stay updated to latest trends in accounting and have knowledge of the latest efficient accounting software.
    4. If the accountant doesn't have any experience- prefer the one whose professional qualifications are from a reputed body such as AAT (AAT Level 2, AAT Level 3, AAT Level 4) is a good idea.
    5. Get to know if the accountant is a team player and if you are comfortable with their disposition.

It is not 1950s anymore. Accountants of those times did all the accounting by themselves.
In today's time, if you hire an accountant he will not be productive unless you give him an accounting software.
So to satisfy your query, I must let you know that you will have to get an Accountant as well as accounting software.

Yes it's true that accounting jobs including bookkeeping is currently being slowly replaced by computers or Software. But I don't really agree on a complete or 100% replacement of accounting software vs. the Accountant's expertise. I am an Accountant by profession, I'd say it will depend on the size of your business and capability to acquire such Softwares. These accounting Softwares will still need human intervention such as data entry, month-end adjustments and report analysis. I suggest you use Quickbooks online or Xero these are very easy to use and Softwares for SMEs

We use the free version of Wave and it provides a lot of value. You can connect your corporate account and have it automatically journal your transactions. It provides reports and makes it pretty simple to do taxes

That's not what I meant. Software can have design faults that you may not notice until you get a visit from the taxman.

    I would go for both.
Accounting software is needed and also a person that can understand and operate that software.
So I would take up both. Both come in handy when time calls for them to.

There is no denial in the fact that you will need human help for accounting as still there are many tasks and operations in accounting that can’t be automated. Even in the upcoming future, you will not go fully autonomous in the world of accounting but the help from software solutions and other technologies will play a lead role in making accounting better.

Automated accounting software has become very common in business. Although this might not give you the exact accounting status at the end of the day, it acts as one of the places where you can go and verify all your transactions. Since software are operated online, they record all transactions and make it easy for business owners to reconcile and map it back to a vendor or a customer. It also brings down the work of accountants and brings back transparency in the system.
