Youtube is growing tremendously each day and people seem to be making big bucks from simple videos and vlogs. Has anyone else considered making youtube videos to make money. I recently found a blog that i found very helpful.( i will post the link below if your interested to see it as well)

has anybody else thought about the possibilities of making youtube videos for more money? Unlike many sources of revenue on the internet, youtube is not a scam. Also, does anybody have experience with adsense? I know it is run by google and that it is not a scam. I am also thinking about making a website and would want to put adsense ads on that.

There are some of my online friends who post toy reviews on youtube and Adsense shows up on their videos.
Remember, Youtube only allows you to add Adsense on your account if you own the rights to those videos. Copyrighted contents are not allowed.

i think instead of earning adsense income from youtube videos if you use youtube to promote your site, that can get you better results.

Why wouldn't you combine the two? You could add Adsense ads to your promotional video as well.

thats a good idea. but ...

let say, my video is about business furnishings and i place adsense ads on it. 50% of viewers will click on the ads and will be redirected to some other site. and this way, i will loose many potential customers. right?

As far as I know, most sites who offer Adsense will open a new window once you click on their ads.
Honestly, I haven't tried it on mine since I can't click my own ads. :p

I don't think there's any single ad publisher that allows clicking of one's own ads.
    Besides, that's cheating.:p
