Here's another reason why we shouldn't work those crazy long hours we tend to do sometimes.
Interesting research, I read about it the other day, in my national newspaper. It's important not to take work, or anything else for that matter, too seriously. Life is to be enjoyed and lived - everything in moderation.
This information is very useful to me. I must be concerned about my working hours, for my own health for the future. Thanks Kay
okay. i have to slow down now and won't work overtime
i guess it always will be the cause if one works harder and less sleep. so eventually, sicknesses will affect such as fatigue and etc..but never thought heart will be affected.
Well, working too much will definitely kill you due to over fatigue.
Rest and have fun at least once in a while to keep your mind and body refreshed.
It will be great if no overtime are needed but unfortunately i still need to work overtime frequently. Anyway, plan to quit the job and run my own business, and wish no more overtime...lol
I had read this quote of a multi billionaire he said "do not believe some body who claims that he is working 14-16 hours.either he is lying or not working properly".
I've my doubts about that. There are some very successful people who are extremely efficient, great at delegating and hence don't need to work long hours. However, I've known some very successful people who work very long hours and manage to be very productive, during those hours.
well, if only the workforce weren't so demanding, maybe people would get to relax more often.
I don't think that's true. Everyone has to start somewhere and while you may get to the point later where you don't need to work long hours, you have to lay the groundwork for that to happen in future. I rarely have a day shorter than 12 hours and I don't stop hardly, between doing my day to day work and then working on our websites. I can assure you I don't fall into either category.
I don't believe on that too-much work kill you.Because too much work spends your time with easily. If you are working only for some hour then its make you lazy.
I suppose there are extremes alenbillo2346, working really long hours and getting stressed is not good for your health. On the other hand, I agree with you that being lazy and unproductive is not good for you either. The trick is to find a good balance.
Well, is working a few hours a day makes you lazy? I don't think so.
As long as you are productive, it will not make you lazy.
I think it must be organized in time
I never know that, i think its time for me to have a break. I don't want to end up nothing but pale.
sometimes I think why should we worry? I wonder why God created the feeling of worriness, I mean it's where stress comes form right?
This si really very good nresearch as there are many peoples who works 12-14 hrs to get extra money as overtime but they doesn't care for the health. So try to work only in office work and do proper exercise daily to stay fit.
yes, working too much brings much more pressure on us.if we can't have good rest after work, deaths will be around the corner...
