Wordpress help thread!

    Now i get a hosting account and the hosting account/company help me to install wordpress directly. But the version they install is 2.8.2 how can i update my wordpress to 2.9.2 or 3.0 through admin panel? Because i need to have either of the latest version to install plugins

    Usually when you log into your wordpress admin http://www.domainname.com/wp-admin at the top of the page of the dashboard is a note about the latest version and upgrade which you can do there adn then.

    Where i do not get what you mean? you mean after you log in?

    50Cent I'd suggest that you contact your host and explain to them that you would like to use the latest version of WordPress and ask them if they can please update their software accordingly.
