    Discuss Windows 8 here

Win7 is 3 years old product, Win8 is release soon. Compare to Apple, FB, and Google, Microsoft seem like get ignore by publicity.

Anyone follow Windows 8 news? Do you like the new Windows? D you have any expectation on Windows 8

    Hi,

After launch Windows 8? Which one is best of them? Windows 7 or Windows 8? Which are the changes made by them? Any one used both windows? Can you share with me. I am using Window 7 so far. But I want to know about 8.
Could any one Share with me?

    Thanks.

I am running on windows xp due some of my reasons like hardware inability. But still, I keep close looking up in web about these OS. From my point, you should move to windows 8 because of facts like :
*Windows 8 runs in half ram memory than windows 7 and any windows 7 running device can run windows 8.
*Windows 8 is said to be something great made by Microsoft over a decade.

Windows 8 is the most radical re-design of Windows ever. Even for those who are currently running Windows 7, it's like learning a whole new OS all over again. That, plus the use of "tiles" instead of the icons people are used to, means I will not upgrade to Windows 8 - yet. I will wait and see what happens to it first. Microsoft is not perfect. They've made a mistake with a new OS before. So, I'd rather see if the public accepts Windows 8 first, before committing to it.

Windows looks better than the previous OS's but it is more suitable for touch devices with the whole tiled User interface. It is not easy to navigate using mouse. On the performance aspect you must wait for reviews and then decide.

Windows 8 is faster than windows 7 though i am used to windows 7 but now i am using to 8. Its a great operating system to me though its tough for operate firstly. Basically its gaming feature is really nice. If anyone want to play online game then they must use windows 8.

    Happy ending.

Yeah, recently there is good hype for windows 8 and as usual it will be one more successful product for the house of Microsoft.

Noways. I totally do not agree with your point. Microsoft is always in the limelight. Without Microsoft, most PC's would not be able to use Google and Facebook.

Why not? Is there something about Windows 8 that you do not like? Or, are you simply happy with what you have, and see no reason to update at this time?

Is there a reason why you have no knowledge of Windows 8, or do you know about it, and have no opinion one way or another? Like piizami, have you decided to stick with Windows 8 because you are happy with Windows 7, and see no reason to upgrade yet?

Windows 8 is very similar to Win 7 except the fact that it has introduced Apps like interface in the OS and nothing else. This is what I have only learned in 3 days after upgrading to Windows 8.

I like windows 7, I absolutely hated windows vista, and I have no idea what windows 8 is like, being that I never had it and know nothing about it, so I wouldn't be able to give an opinion there sorry.
