When I learning about the way to rank Keyword on SERP, One term has crossed many times "USE LONG TAIL KEYWORD". Here My doubt is Why long tail keyword more SEO worthy than short-tail? and Is any new practice I need to follow to Change my website keywords from Short Tail to Long Tail?

A long tail keyword is more specific, so your visitors are more likely to find what they are looking for. For example "athletic shoes" may get a lot of visitors, but if someone is looking for "Women's Nike athletic shoes", the longer keyword would be closer to what they are looking for, where the shorter one would give them a lot of information they don't need.

In addition people searching for "athletic shoes" may just be looking for information but a search for "Women's Nike athletic shoes" is more likely to be someone wanting to buy that type product. And a search for "Nike Air Max Invigor Mid Top Ladies Trainers" it very targeted and means they probably have their credit card in their hand ready to buy.

Fisicx makes a good point. Someone searching for a very specific item is probably ready to buy, but you have to be careful. If you use a very specific long tail keyword, you are more likely to get more sales, but if you are too specific, you could lose sales you might get from the shorter keyword. To continue with the example already used, if someone doesn't know the brand of shoe they need, "women's athletic shoes" would get more searches than "women's Nike athletic shoes", and if someone knows the brand they want, but not the specific shoe, "women's Nike athletic shoes" would get more searches than "Nike Air Max Invigor Mid Top Ladies Trainers". You don't want to try to rank for every brand, style, color, and size that a shoe comes in. so fisicx's suggestion is probably as specific you want to get.
Don't bother changing your keywords just because you want to rank. You want to use the keywords that your potential customers use to find you, and your content needs to sound natural. If you change your content just to try to game the system, you could wind chasing your (no pun intended) tail.

Thanks Joseph.Shivell and fiscix. Every time your answers made a clear note of "What I need to know exactly".
    Thanks again.

Long tail keywords are more specific to your main keywords so better chances of conversion than the short tail keywords which generate traffic but not rankings.

long tail keywords are useful when people are looking for answers to a question. For example, "why does the earth go around the sun". That is long tail. When people are searching for a business service or a product, they rarely use long tail keywords. For example most people will type in something like "toaster ovens" rather than "I am looking to buy at toaster oven from a local store"

They may also go to the website of the store itself, and narrow down their search that way. Many retail websites give visitors the opportunity to narrow down their search by criteria such as brand, price, color, and specific features.
Absolutely. Using an example similar to Julia's, people can search for "Sunbeam two-slice toaster", rather than going to multiple individual stores.
