    Hi there,

as we knew if your website have too much duplicate content then it's easy to get ban from search engines like google, bing..so we shouldn't use duplicated content from other source. But why it's bad for SEO and easy to get ban from SEs. That's reason why I want to ask this question here.

    Please share your thoughts?

Duplicate means Stolen content and it is bad for the reputation of a site. Also search engines can not update the same content in their database. If they do so they will not be able to provide accurate results.

In order to provide the best possible information to anyone using their search engine, the SE's want original, well-written content. If all someone does is copy someone's work, it has no value, since the original author already provided it. Therefore, only the original author should get the benefit of high ranking, and the others, which are essentially useless, get nothing.

Imagine you have one good magazine. It's interesting to read and you are happy with that. But what if you had 20 such magazines that are identical? What should you keep all of them if one is quite enough?
The same is applied to search engines. They spend a lot of resources to crawl and cache billions of pages every minute, why crawl the ones that have identical content?
