Recently, we had to decide what platform we would use for conversion tracking for a banner marketing campaign we were doing at our company.

We decided to go with ClickMeter as well as Google Analytics tracking for it. What programs have you used previously or currently using for conversion tracking? How have you liked it?

Unless you've got the budget to go with one of the more enterprise level tracking services, I would just stick with Google Analytics and Google AdWords conversion tracking. Plus you can configure Google Analytics to track other 3rd party PPC networks and traffic sources such as Bing Ads. Google also offers another ad tracking platform called Dart For Advertisers, which I think you can enable some of that functionality in the free version of Google Analytics too, but it's mainly intended for larger advertisers and media buying agencies so they can set up multiple display and other ad campaigns in one spot.

Other platforms like IgnitionOne, Adobe Analytics (formerly Omniture), KissMetrics and others all cost thousands per month minimum - and often times you can't license them alone, they want to sell you a full agency package and bundle a bunch of other services which drives up the costs even more.
