I have had several new logos designed for my spreadbetting website and I need advice on which one to put Live.

I have linked them all to this test page so it is easy to view them:

    http://spreadbetting-uk.co.uk/test/

    Which one looks best?

    Many thanks for your views

    The logos all look great and it is actually difficult to pick the best one. My thought process is something like this;

First of all I feel that the new options are an improvement on the original. Then, I'd remove 4 and 4_1 from the list, they are my least favourite, in my opinion they are not as strong or as professional as the others.

As regards No. 3 I'd have to ask who is your target audience and what type of image are you trying to portray. This would be my preference if you want that image to be young and vibrant. If you are seeking a more professional, secure image I would pick one of the others.

From the remaining three I would probably pick No. 1, but it is a close call. If going with No. 1 you might want to make it a little smaller, so that it does not go so close to your search box. It might also help to make a very small reduction in the space between the image and the start of the text and the space between the "-" and the "U". It would also be interesting to see how the "bar chart" images from 2 & 2_1 would look alongside the text from No. 1.

Hopefully that's not too confusing and at least a little bit helpful. Did you design them yourself?

All of them are really nice by the way.

You've really good logos and designs overall. I really appreciate them. Choosing to put one live is your choice. However, I would go for SpreadBetting 3 for your survey.

    I like number 2. Isn't design subjective? :)

LOL. Yes. That is why I learned over the years not to ask anymore and just go with what I feel best.

So each option is preferred by at least one person, I'm not sure how helpful this feedback is going to be to you :)

I like this one: http://spreadbetting-uk.co.uk/test/index1.htm It's simple, easy to read and goes with the web page design. you could probably do with moving it more to the left though to keep space between the search box and the logo.

    Nice work by the way.

    Hi mv,

I liked spreadbetting 2 - 1. I like the arrow design on it.

Hope I helped you out on choosing the logo for your site.

This weekend I will make a few final tweaks and a decision, based on the feedback above. I’ll let you know what I go with.

OK. so I went for a variation in the end, based on Fergal (and others) suggestions of the more prominent text with the simple logo.

I think its clean and simple, not overfussy. Thanks for the advice all.

    Thanks all for the help.

Logo updated, and I have also widened the site by 200 px to get more content in. Any more design thoughts would be welcome. When I get some time I want to update the style sheet

    Logo looks great mv5869.

One comment I would make on the design of your site is that the text / font size is very small and personally I find it a little uncomfortable to read. Maybe that's just me, however.
