I'm also a fan of Dell, I currently have a Dell laptop and have been using Dell PCs for years. I've never had any major problems with them and they have served me well over the years.

In general, apple is good both on the appearance and functions you know. but it is a little expensive, and I have one laptop of Lenovo, and in China it is the competitive cost performance in Chinese market. as people said, Dell is also good with various advanced functions, and some said the function of Thermal Dissipation is not perfect. finally, compared with so many kinds, I suggest you buy Dell due to the lcation you are now. hope what I say is helpful.

I am a great admirer of dell laptops and if you looking for bulk buying then there are lot of business platforms that will help you in buying. Some of the can be toboc.com, ali baba.com, india mart.com.

My 2 cents- I have spent a small fortune on laptops over the years. In the past I have bought a Mac, Sony Vaio, Dell and Toshiba and I have to say my favorite is the Toshiba. My Mac broke in about 9 months, my Sony lasted 1 month past the 12 month warranty and when I went to get it repaired the store was quick to point out that the warranty expired. My Dell broke after about a year. To date, the most durable has been the Toshiba- over a year and still going strong, and it happens to be the cheapest laptop I have purchased as far as cost goes. Because of my previous issues with them all breaking, I figured I'd go cheap and at least if it broke it wouldn't break the bank if I had to buy another... Hope that helps.

I know someone who had a similar experience with a laptop. He contacted the Consumers' Association in Ireland, perhaps there is an equivalent body where you are. They advised him that the one year warranty was something given by the store, but that didn't necessarily give it a legal basis. The seller of the laptop was obliged by law to provide a product that would last a reasonable length of time, which could be longer than the warranty period. He wrote to the store with this information and they then agreed to repair his faulty laptop. Just because something is out of warranty, doesn't always mean that the store no longer has an obligation to replace or repair it.

Apple fan here also :), I have a Macbook Air and I love it! Synced with my iPhone and iPad and I don't have to bring it everywhere, I can work from my phone or iPad pretty much where ever I go.

The best bang for the buck is Lenovo. Personally, I don't like Apple's because it is harder to work on them if you're into that kinda stuff.
