I would recommend you HP and Dell's laptop. These brand's laptop is best in use and fit in budget. From Hp, You can select HP 15-G002AX. It sporting best configuration at reasonable price, as compare to other laptop. Second choice is Dell Inspiration, which as a latest generation Intel Core i5 chip, 500 GB HDD, 4GB RAM, and onboard Intel HD 4000 graphics. Both laptop are best in quality and cost.

Somyasharma has given you a couple of good suggestions. Personally, I have used HP in the past and had problems. I am now using a Samsung, with an Asus as a backup. As far as what I would recommend, it really depends on what you will be using it for. Each brand has a variety of models and features, and some may be similar in different brands. To find out which are more reliable, you could probably check out a few review websites owned by companies like Consumer Reports, who test products and rate them.

I've owned two HP laptops that have worked well. The first one lasted over 3 years before the graphics card went bad. I now have a newer model that's working great.

I prefer, Lenovo G50. At present it is great laptop to buy for day to day purpose and it's cost is also affordable too.

Dell it's a more high end.

Acer it's good but the keyboard gets spoilt easily.

Dell is the best choice, as it's easier and cheap to repair and to upgrade. Also if you can purchase MacBook Pro (latest version, of course), it will help you a lot. It's too expensive, but more reliable.
HP is also a good solution.
Cheapest one is Lenovo, but there could be a lot of problems if you need to repair it or change some parts

Out of the brands you mentioned in the title, for me DELL is the best. I have been using it for 7-8 years without having any major issues.

My personal preference is Asus, as they are the ones manufacturing their own stuff, while the others have a habit of outsourcing the parts.
