    Hi Everyone,

I'm interested to know where you might go for business advice if you are stuck on a problem or looking to grow your business.

    Would you approach...

A public sector advisor (eg Business Link or Business Gateway)
A professional advisor such as an accountant
    A private sector consultant
    A personal advisor or mentor
A business coach such as Action Coach
    An online advice forum
    None of the Above.
    Other (Please State)

Please tick those that are appropriate.

I look forward to your responses.

    Best wishes,

    Mark.

    I've voted for two of them;

A public sector advisor (eg Business Link or Business Gateway)
    An online advice forum

Although I might be a little biased :)

    I will go for
    A personal advisor

This one is the best. A personal advisor better know about your business situation.

Forums, such as the one here.

And i have a mentor/a good friend with many years of experience, knowing someone who has been there and done it is always handy to get you on the right path, no matter what your business type is.

The ones I voted for were the mentor and the online forum.

I believe both are really needed and could be very valuable to a persons business.

I was against forums in the beginning stages of starting my business but soon realized that getting various gems of advice from different people who are also pursuing entrepreneurship, was just as good as having a personal mentor.

I would agree with you here. The kind of advice from an experienced mentor makes a lot of difference. You get a similar kind of advice on good business forum like BAF where people form diverse fields give you a good perspective on your questions.

Here when we stuck with any kind of problem then definitely i would like to go with all the above because every angle we could find something and by monitoring these all side we can get the best solution which may go a bit higher actually what we expect.
