When talking about responsive web design, what are the differences between the Mobile First and the Desktop First approaches? Where does each excel and what are some of the issues it leads to?

Users are more and more using their mobile devices to browse the web compared to desktops

With that in mind, businesses nowadays need to have a mobile first website

What that means is the website is designed to work on mobiles as a priority and expand to work on desktops

The approach is different in terms of you don't have the luxury of space in desktop websites, you need to find a way to get your content across with a few finger slides by the guest

Because most of the users are using their smart phones to browse anything over the internet. So that to give them a better visibility and readability your website should be mobile friendly. The Even search engine gives higher priority to responsive websites in the search result
