I am trying to invest some funds in a small scale industry. What would be a better option to invest those funds so that more profit could be generated through limited investments.

See that what is the rate of the share of that industry.Take the advice of share consultant, the consultant will take 5-10 percent of your profit, but again not a bad deal.Ask him about the shares of various industries and then see to it.You will be benefitted.

Invest in the people, not the concept. Talented people can make a success of a so-so idea because they can adapt and change as the circumstances warrant. I've never seen people with mediocre talent succeed with even some of the best ideas. Implementation is everything.

Identify a company that is doing well and see their reports for last three years. Or find an accountant that can do that for you. This would give you a better idea as to how a particular company is doing and how much returns you can expect from it in the future.
