    Whats operating systems do you run? My main one is OS X (Leopard) and I use Parallels Desktop to run Windows 7 (which I hardly use) and Linux Ubuntu 9.04.

    I use X most of the time and Linux for messing around on but can't seem to get the screen a decent size which is very annoying.

    Windows XP, Media Centre Edition.

    For anyone that doesn't know how to check which version of Windows you are on go to;

    Start > Control Panel > System > General

    Currently run Windows XP on my laptop & Vista (ouch) on a work laptop.

    I'm looking into Linux (the company I work for are big in this space) for my new laptop next year.

    Well, I am using Windows Vista Premium Home edtion because my machine is brand new but I prefer Windows XP professional since I have been using it before for several years already and I find it reliable and dependable. It trully fits my needs.

    I'm also looking forward to Windows 7. Most of the reviews I've seen on it have been very positive. Sounds like it might be Microsoft's most accepted OS. Google's new OS is also eagerly anticipated, but it will probably be some time before we see it freely available for home PC's.
