    Hello Business Forum Users!

    I'm planning to start up a Fast Food Chain business and I really need a team to operate it. Can you please share your intelligent ideas on how will I able to attract applicants and eventually hire the best people for my business?

    Hello there!

    Since you are in the fast food industry, its very easy to attract applicants. All you have to do is to make an attractive poster, flyer or tarpaulin with details of the SOON TO OPEN food chain and below it is the line: WE'RE HIRING! You may also check the Internet for more attractive lines. Don't forget t include the important details!

    You've mentioned that you're looking to hire the best people for your business.
    When we're looking to hire there's only one method I know of that guarantees All-star employees

    Topgrading.

    Your company must have good benefits for the applicants/ employees, something that will encourage them to work for you, for example, when they are already hired, they some incentives for a job well done.. Example, they got a perfect attendance for a month, you can give something like perfect attendance bonus..in that way they will think that they are in a good company.

    You can convince people to apply in your company by giving them some extra benefits. Appreciation is the best thing to connect with your employees. Motivate your employees to do something new and effective and when they acheived it, give them rewards with bonus or somthing else that they need.

    in attracting applicants u have to consider the needs of your organization. First, you have to conduct job analysis that will help you in identify job vacancies and it will also help you in doing job description. second, you have to make job descriptions and lastly, u have to think ways on how you are going to attract applicant, like posting in the web sites, advertisement, fliers, etc.

    There are various ways to attract talent and applicants in the organization:

    1. LIVELY JOB POSTINGS:
    - it enunciate your company's mission & why its an ideal place to work.
    - you can offer links to the company's social media feeds and website.
    - keep the list of responsibilities lightly.
    - the benefits that the company offer.
    - pick-up a good style & format of posters.

    2. SLUGGISH RECRUITING PORTALS.
    - provide portals w/ no password. no profile job application are meant to enjoy unrestricted unrestricted talents & applicants and also create a user-friendly experience.

    Higher Salary

    higher-paying jobs attract more educated and experienced applicants.Therefore, if you are getting underqualified applicants, you should consider bringing your compensation in line with the average pay in the job title for which you are recruiting.

    To attract potential applicants to your establishment you should launch recruiting campaigns such as placing newspaper advertisements, soliciting referrals from colleagues and also conducting job fairs.

    in order for you to attract applicants is through offering them a right and just salary, because nowadays people are more into financial matter, so whatever job the company might offer them, they will really grab it, as long as they provide you a right and just wages or salary.

    This is the ways on how to recruit qualified applicants:
    1. Have clear, easy-to-understand job descriptions
    2. Don’t force candidates to use convoluted and time-consuming application systems.
    3. Don’t play games on salary.
    4. Respect candidates’ time.
    5. Keep interviews focused on questions related to the work.
    6. Be transparent through the hiring process.
    7. Remember that interviewing is a two-way street.
    8. Be worth working for.

    In attracting applicants these are the things that you have to consider:
    1. Marketing your company. You can make posters that is eye-catching to the applicants so that it can be noticed easily, you may also use internet sites.
    2. Social Responsibility. it is a great edge if your company is sponsoring different organizations that is helping the community or servicing the needy, because it will reflect on the company's image. therefore, many people are interested to apply in your company.
    3. Your company must provide a safe and healthy working environment, so that the applicants feel contented to work on your company and to do their job effectively and efficiently.
    4. Your company must provide different benefits to your employees. Benefits that is more than what the law requires.
    5. Your company has a good organizational structure, follows the policies and procedures, and the duties and responsibility of the employees.

    In attracting applicants for your company, you must consider what are the classes of people living in the community where your company lies. For example, your company lies in a community where there are lots of middle class people, your strategy is to have an advertisement that is really catchy, also you need to change the wage rates higher than your competing companies and just so that people would be convinced or attracted in applying to your company. Because people living in this community needs more money,so having a high and just wage rate would definitely attract them.

    When hiring people for your business, ask them what do you see as your role in this business? When you can see how they view their skills, it may be easier for you to see how they can fit into your business model.

    Looking for someone to work for you nowadays is easy than looking for a job.. But you can only tell that you've got the best employee once you already work with them.. Just try, and promote for the qualified ones. Good luck.
