    Business:
    Business is a process in which a person or an organization purchases and or sells goods in an attempt to make a profit. For example, a person collecting and selling newspapers is said to be involved in a business.

    Types of business:
    The most common types of business are
    Sole proprietorship is a type of business owned by a single person who is called a sole proprietor. The sole proprietor receives all the profits and also assumes all the risks and debts involved in the business.
    Partnership is a type of business owned by two or more persons. The persons involved are called partners. The partners participating in the business makes a financial contribution, work contribution or both.

    Enjoy with ease of knowledge!!

    I've been hacking my brain as to what kind of business would be appropriate now and I haven't come up with anything yet. Just something small coz there's little money for a capital. I'm hoping to get accepted at a web typing job. Hope that works out. hehehe

    I am sorry Kamal but as a business student i do not take your definition to full extent... as you see now a days business is not only confined with only product its about SERVICES also. Most of the business you see around are selling services.

    A very good Example i would like to give--
    Take Airtel... if i ask you what it sells you may say it sells SIM card but my friend that is wrong .. it sell services for our day to day benefit.

    There are also many other types of businesses around the world, too many to list in full and the rules can differ greatly by country. Below are just a couple of examples:

    UK (other than those mentioned above):
    * community interest company
    * Company limited by guarantee. Usually used by not for profit organisations.
    * Cooperative
    * Limited liability partnership
    * Limited partnership
    * Ltd. a private company limited by shares, the shares not being traded publicly
    * p.l.c. a company whose shares may be traded publicly.
    * Unlimited company

    India:
    * HUF - The Hindu joint family business
    * Cooperative
    * Family Owned Business
    * Private Limited Company (similar to UK Ltd)
    * Public Limited Company (similar to UK Plc)
    * PSU - sometimes state owned
    * Unlimited company.

    Hi shiki,

    There are different business that you can start on web and you won't need too much capital. If you can start up your own blog and place Google Adsense into it, you can earn some money. All you really need is patience, time, effort, creativity and unique ideas that you can write about on your blog.

    You can also start building your blog and make people visit into your site and make them come back and be an avid reader. There are also other ways for you to earn money online. :)

    Good luck with your soon to be business!

    Hi

    A business can be defined as an organization that provides goods and services to others who want or need them. When many people think of business careers, they often think of jobs in large wealthy corporations. Many business-related careers, however, exist in small businesses, non-profit organizations, government agencies, and educational settings. Furthermore, you don't need a degree in business to obtain many of these positions. In short, every sector of our economy needs people with strong overall skills that can be applied to business-type careers. There are a wide variety of career areas that exist in business settings. Some of these include:

    * Accounting
    * Administrative management
    * Business management
    * Finance
    * Human resources
    * Information systems
    * Insurance
    * Marketing
    * Operations management
    * Public relations
    * Purchasing/merchandising
    * Retail management

    Thanks

    Hello,

    A lot of people may know about business processes management, including those people who are running a business of their own. A business process management is often simple when you know what to do and when to do and meeting all ends in an effective manner. Thus making your client happy this will eventually create more business opportunities for you. Therefore, when we talk about business processes management you should take it lightly because even if you don't know about it, you are doing it to some extent and that is why it is important for you to know more about it so that you are able to make your business more successful.

    Thanks

    Thanks for sharing those information with us. In addition to that, I've researched the meaning of that and I found out that Business is a legally recognized organization designed to provide goods and/or services to consumers. Businesses are predominant in capitalist economies, most being privately owned and formed to earn profit that will increase the wealth of its owners and grow the business itself. The owners and operators of a business have as one of their main objectives the receipt or generation of a financial returns in exchange for work and acceptance of risk. Notable exceptions include cooperative enterprises and state-owned enterprises. Businesses can also be formed not-for-profit or be state-owned.

    Taking inputs, doing a transformation on them and producing an output.

    Creating value in the process.
