Personally I think it's a big improvement and many just went unseen.
First of all I don't like the default icon menu of Iphone (big rectangular boxes). Taking about Iphone5, I must say it is great products by Apple after long time. Some points I like about the Iphone5 are :
*Iphone5 is more thinner than last released Iphone so It can be used easily.
*Iphone5 seems more stronger than Samsung galaxy s3 :
*3D and much improved maps, so from now on Apple shouldn't depend upon google for maps.
Improvement=>yes New Changes=>Yes Competitive with Android OS=>No
I don't know but i think Samsung galaxy s3 is better than iphone5. Very much expensive for just one awesome feature (projector) is not a big deal.
it must compete with itself,and it must have great breakthrough to persuade people to give up their iPhone4s
I totally agree with williamluke01. Moreover, in iphone you do not have memory card. I do not like that.
I can't use it yet,so i can't say any thing about it.
I think it has a new and larger display with 44% better color saturation. 20% lighter and 18% thinner than iPhone 4S.
For me, iPhone 5 is just a proof of how Apple is doing the right job in directing consumers to a world where the thing on mobile computing is really changing. I know for a fact that there are some other devices that bested Apple's iPhone in terms of specifications. However, I wonder why iPhones are running games more smoothly than most Android devices despite having quad-cores and 2 gig of rams. Hmmm.. I guess it shows iPhone's hardware and software components are more optimized to supplement one another.
I'm a fan of iPhone units. And as we all know, iPhone is their best yet. It rivals with the Samsung Galaxy SIII. Many of us might pick the S3 than iPhone 5. But for me S3 and iPhone is fair enough in their competition.
