Static pages are HTML pages and they are not linked with any database. Dynamic pages are created with more complex codes like PHP or ASP and each dynamic page is generated from information stored in a database or external file.

In simple terms, static page is a "stick to one" page that never changes and visitors will see the same text and design every time they drop in. Dynamic page is more on the changeable side. They change depending on the browser the visitor used or the whether he/she is using a PC or a mobile.

Static websites have the static pages which are designed by using HTML language. It can not add, edit and delete the data because there is no any database in the static website.

other hand Dynamic website is written by more multifaceted code in PHP,it has a better degree of serviceable. It is organize by the use of content management system.we make change when we have required it.

As the name suggest static means not changeable and dynamic means changeable. The main difference between dynamic and static pages is that dynamic pages are connected with database and also need php coding whereas static pages has their coding only in html and are not connected to the database.

Dynamic pages can change depending on data from other sources, i.e. MYSQL database.
Static pages always stay the same unless they are manually updated.

The content of dynamic website changes every time the page is loaded in the browser, but in the case of static website content of the page remain same every time when it is loaded.

Static web pages means you can't change page after creating once.

Dynamic web page means you can change frequently. These pages are useful for daily uses like sharemarket, weather.

Static websites: - Static websites contain set number of pages and format of website is set which provides information to the consumer. There is 110 change in material of website while web page is running on customer's web browser. This kind of web sites created from HTML and CSS programming on simple text manager like note pad. Example an organization website, institution website etc.
Dynamic websites: - Dynamic websites can change the website material dynamically while the site is running on customer's browser. This kind of websites use server- part development like PHP, Asp.NET. and JSP etc. to modify web page material on run time. Dynamic websites use customer part scripting for prepare powerful design and server- part code to handle event, manage period and biscuits, and storing and accessing data from data source. Example E-commerce websites, online form application, E-governance site, social media websites etc.
