Best design techniques? etc... I'm creating a business card for my website.
Good question Titus, I'm planning on getting a business card done soon myself. I would say that your contact details need to be very clear on the card, but that shouldn't prevent your creativity. Business people receive lots of cards and anything that can make your card stand out will be to your advantage. Perhaps make it a little different in terms of design, shape, paper quality or something else. Here's a link to very creative business cards that might give you some inspiration.
Another suggestion I would give is to remember that there are two sides to every business card and that leaving one side blank is a waste of valuable space.
I saw the link provided by Fergal. Its really good. It has a lot of creative business cards. With this sample, you create a unique business card of ur own. It gives a good impression. Dont imitate any others.
Simple but stylish works for me. Ensure your details are clear, that your logo and branding are well represented, and if you have the budget - do something different. Use something other than paper, people are much more likely to keep these. The link Fergal gave includes these types of ideas.
What is important here is that all the information about the business must be clear, like the contact numbers, logo, business name, location and make it sure that your card is presentable so that people will not ignore it.
Have just looked at Fergals link. Thanks for putting that up, there are some really good ideas.
I go through your provided link . Its really awesome. It carries great ideas for business cards. It will help lot for everybody to feature his business. Also your created a business card was unique one.
Thanks for sharing this great link.
Make sure to do your business card printing through a reputable printer. Home printing doesn't look as professional unless you have the right printing equipment. As for design, keep it simple and clear.
The first time I came to this BBS, please take care
Go for processional designer's help, they will suggest you with most possible and unmatched solution.
I think it is important not to make mistakes and state clearly your name and post and all the other details. Your business card should correspod to the title you are having.
Mistakes are a disaster on a Business card, very unprofessional.
