any one of you faced such situation and suceeded to bring the site on its previous position.

The other way i can register a new domain and upload the same data on that and diverting the original site to the new one.

if your site has been penalized by Google's update then you'll get message from Google but
    sometime you wont get message.

That is a remarkable decline in ranking. Loss of ranking by more than 1 page in a month may be caused by the following:
    - major algo update
    - major site error
    - partial penalties --> Google warning you about your pages not adhering to their guidelines before / during / after their algorithm hit your website

    Regards,
    Mark

    Few Ways Here:
Check Webmaster Account for Any message you received
Check indexed pages in SERP if they are landing to some errors.
Check through Online Tools. Just google it "seo penalty checker" and you will get plenty of tools available.

Brilliant post!!! I think the Penguin update is pushing more and more people into ethical content marketing. I think it is great people share their experiences like you have here. There is always so much panic, gossip and rumor milling after an update, this has some solid evidence behind it!

Before doing this, you should check first with Webmaster account for any messages from Google regarding the penalty. If there is one, then you should try to solve that issue if possible.

My site was at #1 SERP but when I got penalized, my site was nowhere on the SERP. Illegal link building method is always harmful, you should avoid them.

Yeah, I feel you there. So to avoid penalties, we should process it in a proper way and abide by the rules. :)

Hi asad, apologies of the late response. Usually when you get a partial penalty, you get a warning message by Google themselves. They usually indicate what have you done wrong against their guidelines and what you can do to recover or remove the penalty.

Their message are usually sent through your Google webmaster tool. :)

    Regards,
    Mark
