No web site is complete without images but at the same time they cost an arm and a leg. There are many web site offering free photos but they still have some terms and conditions. Some web sites require a link back, other require credit, some restrict use to non-commercial websites etc. Buying images of stock photo sites seems the most viable option however it is becoming complex day by day due to the complex licensing terms and high costs. So my question is, has anyone ever tried using free images on their web site? What is your experience on it?

Okey.. When you are taking photos or images from websites, do we have to pay for them? or take permission from them?

I didn't know it. For example when i am preparing presentation, i took lots of pictures from web and never asked for permission. Could you please inform me about this subject?

You can view lots of sources of free images in the Image & Font Sources section of our Useful Online Business Resources thread.
