    Hi ..

my question is, do you think that there is a difference in ranking between .us domains and .com domains in google.com ??

the thing is, I found a good exact match keyword domain name in .us version and I'm asking myself if it will rank as high as a .com domain

I know that exact match keyword domain names value has decreased recently (even matt cutts said that in one of his videos) , but still, there is a slight ranking boost for those domains, and I want to benefit from it (especially because it's a niche website, and there is no reason to register a brandable domain whatsoever) ..

so do you think that google treats these domains differently ?

A .us domain can rank just as well as a .com domain can. It all depends on the webmaster and how much work he puts into it. Just acquire quality backlinks and do the basic SEO stuff.

I don't think Google cares what the domain is, what matters most to Google is the relevance of your site. Unique content and good SEO will make the difference between your site and competitors one.

I've never seen a .us in high ranking before, It matters what extension you have. :D
I guess yours can be the first .us to do good I sold AnimeVideos.us for $500. :D
AnimeVideos is a good keyword and hopefully yours is 2. It won't rank as good as a .com will but it could take front page with the exact keyword matching domain.
