Uruguay has become the first country in the world to legalize marketplace of marijuana. On Tuesday the Senate approved the final legislation and soon President Jose Mujica too may sign it into law. Mujica, 78, in fact had earlier campaigned for the legislation and want the market to start operating in 2014. Sixteen senates voted in favor of the bill and 13 against it. The lower house approved it in July this year. The drug control agency of the country will be drafting regulations of it by mid-April.
