You are facing the negative effect of PPC and almost every PPC campaign encounters this risk. If that is not all found to be beneficial then better to stop it and search other ways to promote your business. Concentrate more on SEO, SMO, SEM to get attract more organic traffic, and this results sustain long.

try to improve your title and description, interest, demographics, geographical location and other parameters, they are an essential part of your ad performance. Also filter some of the IPs you think shouldn't be there to see your ad or add some negative keyword you think your ad shouldn't be search from.

From what I know you might be targeting the wrong keywords. Make sure you are using the keywords that are relevant to your campaign. What PPC network are you using anyways?

if you are using broad keyword match type then it is possible that you might get irrelevant clicks. Try to go for exact keyword match types.

Set your keywords to exact match and choose which keywords you want to target. Then change it to broad match modified once you are happy with the return.

The campaign setup needs to be very specific to get rid of unnecessary hits to your ads. Along with location setup you need to choose the perfect keyword as well as need to give perfect description for that specific keyword.

What is the ratio of it to the relevant hits you also get? It could be a normal effect with the keywords you are using or... it may be that it is not targeted enough.

I believe there is an option inside Google Adwords to block ip address. Also, there is an option where you can block negative keywords. Many of the times it's your competitors trying to ruin your campaign by click botting. This is a common practice in paid advertising.

Yes you are right that its possible to restrict unwanted clicks by using negative keywords but I am not aware of blocking IP address! Is it really possible to block specific IP address in Adwords?

There are many companies available online that offer this blocking of ip address as a service. I believe Adwords now lets you block ip click fraud, check for "ip exclusions" option within your dashboard.

You can block IP addresses from accessing an ad in the "Campaigns" section of your Adwords" account. If you have more than one campaign each campaign will have to be blocked separately. Under the campaign you want to block the IP(s) from, click on "Settings", then scroll down to the Advanced settings to "IP exclusions". You will see "Manage IP exclusions" with an "Edit" link next to it. Click on the "Edit" link, and a text box will appear with instructions. Follow the instructions to enter the IP address(es) you want to block, then click the "Save" button

Thank you so much, I have just noticed it now! I just need to place the IP addresses here, right?
