There are various things people do to relax at their workplace whether they have a sitting job or a standing job or a walking job. What do you do?

I take breaks in between work. I focus on work for an hour straight and take a quick break be it walking, making coffee, stretching or just doing breathing exercises. Keeps me on track to finish all my tasks.

Lava lamp. It's old fashioned and all, but there is something awesome about turning away from a stressful day and just seeing these blobs playing around. Goldfish are also amazing, Koi are pretty cheap at Walmart and the peace of mind is great. I am all about less maintenance though so Lava Lamps.

Take a break for some time and prefer to have a walk under the sunlight, which makes me stress-free and relaxed.

Never take the work too much seriously as it can make you more stressed and aggressive.

When I feel really stressed out at work, love to listen to music as it really works to bring some positive thoughts.

not sure how effective this would be but I would certainly give it ago. Does it work similar to a fish aquarium or better :)

I usually have a game on my phone that relaxes me and gives my brain a break from the stress at work! Works everytime!

Continuous work can affect your mind and body. Doing a little bit of off work activities can relax you a bit. Drinking water, make yourself laugh also helps you to relax during your work.

My workplace provides three times break for few minutes. At that time we can play, take coffee or tea, can walk in park. There are two play grounds where the employs can have fun.

Good suggestion! I hadn't thought of lava lamps in some time but several years ago I acquired two doing some work for a club that was closing and they are really relaxing. I'm going to have to hunt one down now as I lost those in a move several years ago.

I work sitting most of the day and like another poster mentioned, I try to make it a point to take a break once an hour, stand-up and walk around and stretch a bit - helps a lot.

Taking regular breaks certainly helps, when there is lots of work on the temptation is to stay at your desk but this can decrease productivity. Taking regular breaks may actually help you achieve more due to being less stressed.

I have a break for a while, go out to breath some fresh air and get some Vitamin D from the sun. Also when I become stale I listen to chillout music very often.

One should look out of a window every 30 mins just for a minute or less, and this will relax the eye muscles and prevent myopia

I do listen to my favorite songs while working to relieve stress. I also do take breaks and drink a cup of my favorite Cappuccino Mocha coffee.
