As we all know, CONTENT IS KING. Readers, and search engines, love original content.
But how do we create original and interesting content for our websites?

    • Create a useful and information-rich site.
    • Be yourself - Both search engines and visitors like unique online content, so don't copy and paste content from other sites or auto-generate unoriginal information.
    • Be creative - Despite similar interests, there are infinite possibilities of presenting your content uniquely. The need for information crosses all borders.
    • Be concise - Describe your content clearly and accurately. Users enjoy and come back to well-written and easy to follow content.
    • Involve users - Identify all possible user communities. Solicit your users feedback and modify the features accordingly.
Info originally came from Google Adsense Newsletter.

Content is not limit to text; information can be distribute through images and videos.

One of the easier way to create a useful, unique and creative content; which is convert existing content to become infographic or video. We take the definition of SEO as example:

    1. SEO explain in text (wikipedia):
    2. SEO explain in Info-graphic:
    3. SEO explain in video :

Above more or less describe same information about SEO, but the impact is different.

To put a slightly different spin on what both GekiDan and patrick0001 said, the information may be old but the presentation can be new and different. Many successful books and movies take classic themes and weave them into a new story. Look at how the information was presented in the past. Can you organize it in a better way? Can you make it more relevant to a particular subset of your audience by focusing on a particular aspect? Can you use photos or infographics? Video?

Try to see the information in a new way that adds value to your readers.

I think the most important thing to keep in mind is to try and distinguish your writing style from everyone else's, which falls under both being yourself and being creative. Make your topics interesting and more entertaining and you'll benefit from more readers and probably receive a few compliments, I know I do after I finish writing content.
