For those designers out there on the web, how long does it take you to create a style for a web page? For me it takes quite a while due to the fact that I need to research a lot about the codes I want to use. I hope to learn a lot more about coding so that it won't have to take me as long.

Yeah. Me too. It took me a day or two, sometimes a week to get the design to what I really like.
Sometimes, looking at many different sites related to our niche will help you get the design that you are looking for.

If I may add: If you found a site that you really like the design, try to get a screenshot of it and save it on a designated folder. So if you are losing some ideas, you can look at them for inspiration.

That is what I do when I am running out of ideas on what to do. I will start browsing the web and looking for designs I like. I make sure that I don't just straight off copy the design though :p
