    Hello Everyone.
Need advice on how to start an Online Traffic School.

We are already an established Driving and Traffic School in Los Angeles (well over 10 years) and would like to start our own online Traffic School.. however finding the rules and regulations for such a site are rather difficult to come by. Talking to the d.m.v yielded nothing. Online searches have given me little. Basically, just need the guidelines for the test, how it has to be designed, what elements must be included and what additional paperwork we might have to file. Thank You.

First, research about Google policies and regulations. Second, learn how to create a website through different online tutorials. You can make use of w3schools.com. Then, read a lot of SEO blog. If you are not aware of what SEO (search engine optimization) is, researching about it is a good step as well.

you got yourselft a little project here! I give you balls for tackling this!

First- you need to find out who creates and regulates the test and see what there online policies are. I am sure the DMV does not make and regulate the test...they just do the test (kind of like a teacher. they dont regulate and create the test, it is done by some big wigs...the teach just hands it out)

Second- You will need to find out how to make the test private so it does not show up in search engines so kids can pre-read the test questions. Could be as simple as disallowing the robots.txt for that page.

Thirdly- Again for you site design, content and what have ya you need to contact the traffic school heads in the state and/or government to get their guidlines

Then: Establish a contract with the court system. Each state has its own Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) with its own protocol. In California, for instance, each Superior Court contracts companies that accredit traffic schools, so you would need to call the Superior Court to get contact information for the accreditation companies. Florida, on the other hand, certifies directly through their DMV.

Here is a cool site I found that may also help out:

Good luck man...you have a mountain to climb but once you get there it will awesome!

You have to be aware of all the pros and cons for the online traffic school. Better way to do that is ask an expert in this matter to get an advice. This way you can save time. Hope that helps!
