Does the service allow you to use your own domain name?

Considering the recent court ruling against You Tube their may be good opportunities for smaller niche services to set up in competition with them. You Tube will now have the disadvantage that they must begin to approve all videos before they are uploaded.

Looking at the "How it works" link in Boostcast, I can see that it's almost exactly the same as Youtube. There's one thing that's different though and that is the introduction of their Video community - just like the Yahoo groups.

If they're going to approve all videos before they are uploaded, this would increase the time and process of sharing videos. It would also make Youtube liable for any copyright infringements in the future, if they approved videos that they're not supposed to.

Nazreen, I've heard that one of the implications of the recent court ruling against You Tube is that they must now approve all videos before they are displayed and remove any that violate copyright law. This will have severe implications for the growth of You Tube.

Yeah but that may be a good thing because we have to start seeing some competition for YouTube.
