Due to sagging finances that seemed insurmountable with the mounting loan interests, my friend put up their house for sale. The proceeds would enable her to pay all her debts and move on with another business venture. However, our of desperation, she grabbed the first prospective buyer no matter how low the offer was. And since the buyer had sensed the desperation of the seller, the buyer even lowered his offer before signing the contract to buy.

Tsk, tsk, that was a sad experience.

She could have used a little advice really. Realtors don't always act in the best interests of their customers and will often prefer to encourage a quick sale rather than advise the buyer to hold out for a better offer.

A quick buck isn't always the most lucrative option.

In my thoughts, nobody should ever sell his/her land or house. The question of selling a house only comes when you have another house and you don't need this house at all.
Land are always a good friend of human.

Probably she could wait for sometime for a fair offer to sell. Now a days investing on a house is very good idea and it gains good profits but if you are selling your property to some Realtor, then probably the offer price would be less then expected. because they also gain profit from your sold house.
