It;s about the blogpost matt cuts(yeah the google guy) posted yesterday. You should read it and you'll fint it quite interesting.
“Why did our PageRank go down?” at http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/why-did-my-pagerank-go-down by Matt Cutts.
The only conclusion you can make that the buy/sell links market is dangerous! and with proof!

Thanoz, thanks for the link. I think Matt Cutt's post is interesting but not surprising. Google has said for years that violating its TOS in that way can cause your site to be penalized. What is surprising is that people continue to sell links and are surprised when they get caught.

Yeah the whole buying selling links thing leaves you exposed to a complaint and once google has a look and you have your offer written there plain and simple it is pretty compelling evidence.

    Of course !
Matt Cut already explained it and we have to follow all Google guidelines.

Google recently updates PANDA 3.9 which is also related to content and submissions.

    Go for it.

    Cheers !

This is understood Google Violation is the main matter to go down no matter it is Page Rank or Search Rank.

Google don't stop people from selling ad space on their own websites. Google consider do-follow links to a site, to be a vote of confidence in that site. The more votes of confidence a site has, the higher Google will rank it in it's search engines - obviously search engine rankings are much more complex than that, but basically quality do-follow links do help improve search engine rankings in Google. Google believe that selling links distorts the rankings, because paid links are in reality not a vote of confidence. Hence they penalise sites in their search engine listings, who do that.

Most people give less credibility to paid advertisements, than to genuine customer reviews. In essence, what Google is doing is applying that principle to their search engine results.
