lets say surgeonsnamesecrets.com, will it complicate things?

It could. Because you are using his/her name without his/her consent.
You might be able to get into trouble by using that so be careful.

There can be copyright issue's ...! There have been many such case
For Example:- Pfizer , Google etc

Google has taken away many domain name which had Google's registered Name ( Google , Youtube etc )

And in Pfizer case they went to court ...to get back the domain name

    Its better not to use

or else take the permission From the copyright holder

For example cotweet.com use this name with the permission of twitter

When it's obvious that you're attempting to cash in on a person's fame in their industry in your choice of domain name, yes you could indeed. I believe that would come under the Anti-Cybersquatting Act. Read this article on Personal and Proper Names Protected Under Anti-Cybersquatting Act and see if you still want to do it.

Personally I don't think it would be worth the worry. Plastic surgeons have deep pockets and good lawyers.

You need to be careful with it ownedbox, and I agree with the advice that you have already given. The surgeon concerned will be keen to protect his / her reputation. They will not want to be associated with an online store that they don't approve of and may well take legal action against you. It would be much less complicated to use a different domain name.

If I'm not mistaken, you are from the Philippines, right? And what you think is wrong.
There's a related law wherein you can be put into jail by using those "surgeon" names without that person's consent.
And according to one of my policeman friends, it's considered as swindling or estafa.

    So be really careful. :)

Putting the name in that format really won't make any difference. It's still using the surgeon's name to promote your business without his or her permission.

What do you mean? It doesn't really make any difference than a written or actual form of swindling.

They won't need to be knowledgeable about those things. It won't be the police seeing the website and making a decision to take an action against you. If the surgeon is not happy with what you are doing, he / she may take legal action against you through the courts and the courts will instruct the police as to what to do with you.

Besides, it's the surgeon's reputation that is at stake if you have done something wrong on your customers, not yours...

You can sell those products as an affiliate, it would be easier for you as you won't need to build a website with all the complications associated with it.
Also you won't have to worry about buying those products and shipping them to the buyers.
As an affiliate, all you need to care about is get the traffic and gather your money.
