I really like the color scheme. It's just right for a gaming website.
Your logo is simple yet cool. I'm wondering if you have any plans on incorporating the image on your favicon to your site's logo?
I personally like the idea of using the thread starters avatar as a forum or thread icon. First time I have seen this.

Noticed a "test" sidebar box. Do you plan to add something there?

All you need to do is gain more forum posters to populate your forum.

    Good luck on your site.

It's pretty dark, but I suppose that makes a lot of things stand out on it. I think the header is too plain, I like your logo, however I think you could add maybe a few characters in your header on the right of it. I believe it'll add a good effect to your header overall.
I also believe you should try and merge a few forums together, or perhaps make a couple of forums "Child forums" so it makes the forum look more active.

By the way, I'm a huge fan of XenForo, and I'm looking to purchase it sometime soon - so hopefully you can teach me about it!

All in all, I like the forum, it definitely has great potential, so well done, and good luck with it! :)

The logo was just something i added as a placement, there will be a new one coming in the next few days I'm hoping.

Unsure about the favicon, the logo did used to have a coffee cup on a previous theme.

The test side box right now is what it is, i was simply testing but i will be using it for something in for future but will most likely be removed before using again.

The forums were actually spread out a lot more and i prefer it like that so i did combine a lot of them and remove some so i would like to keep it this way even if it could be better.

Thank you for the feedback and the goodlucks, I really appreciate it a lot. Any more feedback and suggestions i can get would be great.

I'm not a gamer myself karoshio, so I'm not the most qualified to give you feedback on your gaming forum. One thing I did notice is the titles of your sidebar sections. They don't seem to fit with your site, it looks like you are using the default titles - e.g. "Welcome to Themes Inc" and "Placement". I would imagine that you could very quickly change that text to "Welcome to GamerCafe" and remove the "Placement" section, until you have something relevant to put there. Little things like that will make your site appear much more professional and improve the level of trust that your visitors and members have in you.

    Good luck with it!

    Hi karoshio,

Your site's overall appearance and look & feel really goes well with the site's theme, that is, grey with the contrast of light blue is appealing.
Moreover, you may have better and nice looking images in the header and make the header a bit broader.
There was a section 'Placement', honestly I didn't get what is it for?

Rest, I think you are going in the right direction.

    Good luck!

The welcome to themesinc was unknown to me because it must be there when it logged in and I have never logged out.

The placement will be removed, it was just testing :p

What images did you mean that could be better, dis you mean the ones on the logo?

Thanks for the replies everyone, keep the suggestions, feedback and comments coming.

Looking great. But the name (logo) is hard to read.
    Good luck.

Hard to read? I don't think so. I can easily read the site's name/logo above the page. The typography is also clean and simple.
What makes you say it's hard to read?

I mean the GamerCafe text in the top header image.
The transparent light blue text over a blue background is not a happy choice :).

Yes, I mean the pictures in the logo / page header. You may have images of some famous characters of the gaming world like from the Counter Strike etc.
I meant some reasonably thrilling and full of action images instead of some awful faces. : )

I know now what you meant. The OP changed the header after I have reviewed it.
And you are right. Although the text blend perfectly on the graphic, it makes reading the site's name a pain if you have a poor vision.

To make your life easier and save ime, you can use rendered game graphics for your banners. You can find one here: http://planetrenders.net/renders/index.php?cat=8
All you need to do is register and download the renders that you like.

Thanks for the reply, but I really cannot remove any of the js. The site opens fast for me so if speed is a problem i can make other changes. I will see how other users feel about the speed before any changes though.
