    [Moving thread to the correct forum section!]

    The forum looks quite professional at first glance, however there is room for some improvements such as;

    • Reducing the height of the header and "Adverts" areas, When someone visits your site, there is a lot for them to view and scroll down before they can see the main content (i.e. the forums) in your site.
    • Your site slogan is "Venting your advertising needs". I don't see how the word "venting" is relevant in that slogan and I don't believe that the slogan clearly communicates what your site is about or how it will help your visitors. Your site should make it very clear how it will help your visitors, within a few seconds of them visiting it.
    • When I see your forum and look at your main logo I read it's name as "Forum Advent". When you use the word "venting" in the slogan it suggests that the site name is "Forum Ad Vent". This will cause some confusion amongst your visitors and negatively affect your branding. "Advent" is a good word and it is brandable, you don't need to separate it out to make two words from it.
    • I'd also suggest changing the slogan font a little so that it is clearer and easier to read.
    • Re "Our Theme Upgrade Is Nearly Completed! Paintient" I think that should be "Patient".
    • It would also help if you got a TLD domain, it would make you appear more professional and make it easier for your members and visitors to remember your domain name.

    Good luck with it!

    The first thing I would do is get my files situated via ftp. You will definitely scare away potential members if you keep it the way that it is.
    The second thing I would do is get a paid domain.
    Do some SEO, at least make your meta tags. "My Board Index Page" is not helping you in the search engines.
    Get your own custom logo done and get a theme. Even a free theme will do. Anything but the default phpBB theme.

    I wonder how you did come up with that review is the site is not available on that domain.

    Yeah, right now. It was working fine when I did the review. I guess he took my suggestion and went for a paid domain? haha Hopefully that is what happened.

    Just don't use .co.cc at all. .infos right now are only 89 cents at GoDaddy. Just splurge for it right now. No one will take your website seriously if you're using a free domain.

    Kinda agree with you there. CO.CC is not that could.
    I have even heard reports that once you got the domain ranked, they will ask you to pay for it.

    Spudster sorry but I'm closing this because the original site is gone. However, you would be very welcome to start a new review request thread for your new site.
