    HI everyone,

If i am leaving an employer who has 1. Not given me a contract in the first place, 2. Not written down any agreement with regards to any restrictive conevants in terms of leaving the company. Can they enforce any kind of restriction once i have left the company?

I'm not sure where you are based, but in many countries there is a legal obligation on employers to provide their employees with a written employment agreement. If your employer has not provided you with this, it would seem very unlikely that they could enforce any kind of restriction on your future. Was there any kind of verbal agreement with your employer in this regard?

This was not discussed with regards to my employment. But it was discussed with regards to a lower down employee of the company. Ultimatly nothing verbally or written stating my agreement to any restriction. Im in the UK.
