Can you recommend a remote backup solution for a MySQL database? I'm looking for a service that would backup a website database on a regular basis and store that backup on a server completely separate from where the site is hosted.

    Thanks!

    Hi Fergal,

You can look at what we offer here: http://www.eukhost.com/online-backup-storage.php . It's similar to what you are looking for in terms of offsite and incremental backups.

If you have queries related to it then you can get in touch with me!

Thanks Rocky, does that solution include automated backups. In other words would my data automatically be backed up to that server on a regular basis?

Thanks for the suggestions AJKpeter, will take a look at them.

Yes Fergal, once configured the data will be automatically backed up as per the frequency you set be it hourly, daily or weekly.

    HI

The solution provided by Rocky seems cheaper otherwise I thought to recommend IBM Tivoli if the budget is more, but I think it would be costly for you and it is more useful on enterprise level to backup servers. It takes back of each and every newly created files/folders.
